41st Parallel Records proudly presents The Falcon's Hats (I Cappelli del Falco), an homage to the music of Alberto Falco.

This album is a memorial that honors the Neapolitan composer and guitar wizard Alberto Falco. Alberto was a genius jazz musician, taken away too soon, at the age of 53, by a tragic chain of events in 2020, that included flawed local COVID pandemic regulations and hospital negligence.


But Alberto's music lives on, through a group of musician friends who recovered two unreleased sets recorded many years ago. On The Falcon’s Hats Alberto appears both as composer and performer: in a guitar duo with Marco Cappelli and in trio with his regular mates Giacomo Pedicini on bass and Giuseppe Costa on drums, featuring Valerio Virzo on saxophone. It's a moving and heartfelt tribute to a musician whose work touched so many lives.
